I have been racing and collecting RC for some time now. I currently have RC gas and electric boats, buggies, dragsters, funny cars, go karts, helicopters, monster trucks, motorcycles, touring cars, 1/4th scale and many other forms of RC. I have about 25-30 different models on this site and I add to my collection all the time. To give you a recap on my experience level in RC, I started off in electric and soon after I became bored and ventured over to nitro. I think as a beginner everyone should start off in electric and gain the experience and knowledge then move to nitro.

Nitro opened up a whole new world to me. Electric was nice, but the sound and feel of a nitro RC model is breath taking. To think that you built that with your own hands and it actually works is amazing to me. I definitely have come a long way and a lot by trial and error , but that is how you learn (some a little more expensive then other though ).
